The Final Report of the COST 323 action (WIM-LOAD, 1993-98) was finally published by the Laboratoire Cnetral des Ponts et Chaussées, as a 550 page book. It contains all the work performed by the International group of 25 experts from 18 European countries, including a 10 language glossary of terms, the analysis of needs and requirements, the European Specification on WIM, the description of the European WIM database, the results of all the large scale WIM tests carried out from 1993 until 1998, and several reports on application of WIM to pavement and bridge engineering, traffic monitoring and enforcement. It presents the most up to date volume on WIM available at the moment.
